The next Club 5 business networking event is on 7th June at Eitex offices in Glasshoughton .
It’s a date to pencil into your diary, as you won’t want to miss it. The first event back in March was a tremendous success, well attended, lots of fun, and all in a good cause – both for business and in support of the Hospice.
You can read about the first Club 5 meeting here.
Supporting the Prince of Wales Hospice
The Prince of Wales Hospice provides a vital service to our most vulnerable community members as they cope with life limiting illnesses. But the hospice is also there to support carers, as they also need practical help and a friendly ear to get them through difficult times.
Through Club 5, businesses throughout Pontefract, Castleford, Wakefield and the surrounding areas are helping to complete the circle of care by giving back to the hospice. We’re already managing to fund 17 days of care. This is a tremendous achievement for a new club, and we’re grateful to everyone who’s stepping up and taking part.
Local businesses drive our community. Together we’re a powerful voice, and Club 5 gives us both a platform and a reason for getting together on a regular basis.
Friendships as well as business relationships flourish. Members have already received businesses through connections made at the club, and in turn passed business on to fellow members.
Club 5 Meeting Agenda
Time flies at the meetings, and don’t worry about grabbing breakfast before you leave the house as it’s waiting for you on arrival. After breakfast, we’ll have an update on Club 5 itself, and hear news from the hospice.
Following on will be a short presentation from one of our members, after which we’ll have speed networking which is always lots of fun and gets everyone mingling. We’ll finish with open networking, which gives you a chance to follow up on earlier connections made or just to relax and have a chat.
Join us. You won’t be Sorry.
Business networking clubs are one of the best ways of getting to know fellow business owners in the area. Our close community comprising the five towns is one to be proud of, and we got that way through our mutual support.
They’re currently 29 members strong, and there is room for plenty more local businesses to join us. If you’d like to be part of this vibrant and energising group, you’re very welcome to come along to the next meeting.
In case you missed it at the top of this post, it’s on 7th June starting at 7.30 am at the Eitex offices in Castleford.
