IT Account Manager Job Description

Location: Eitex Head Office

Salary: £24,000 – £28,000 (dependent on experience) + Commission Scheme

Job Summary:

As an IT Account Manager at Eitex, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of existing customers, developing and growing customer accounts, and ensuring an exceptional level of customer service. You will play a crucial role in handling customer inquiries, negotiating pricing, conducting outbound sales and marketing activities, and expanding our customer base. This position requires a proactive and target-driven individual who can thrive in a fast-paced, complex environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage Existing Customers: Effectively manage and nurture a portfolio of existing customers, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.

Account Growth: Develop and implement strategies to grow customer accounts, increasing their spending with Eitex.

Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, addressing customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.

Sales and Pricing: Negotiate pricing agreements and raise sales orders while ensuring competitive rates and profitability.

Outbound Sales and Marketing: Proactively engage in outbound sales and marketing efforts via telephone and email to promote Eitex products and services.

Customer Conversion: Convert new prospects into customers and encourage existing customers to increase their spending.

Prospect Outreach: Contact prospective customers to introduce and promote Eitex's products and services.

Dormant Account Revival: Revive dormant customer accounts through targeted efforts and re-establish relationships.

IT Account Manager Person Specification:

Experience: Prior experience in a similar role such as account manager, sales executive, sales support, or business development.

Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional demeanour.

Customer Focus: A dedicated focus on delivering an excellent customer experience.

Adaptability: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and complex business environment.

Target-Driven: Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets and goals.

IT Knowledge: Preferred but not mandatory; familiarity with IT products and services is a plus.
